Kieran Egan Perpetual Trophy - U11 Football League 2009

In October 2009 the under 11 boys and girls from St. Rynagh’s play the final of the Kieran Egan Perpetual Trophy.

Kieran Egan was a regular member of Cloghan teams in the 50’s most notably as a goalkeeper. As Kieran is no longer with us his family has donated a plaque in his memory to the club to promote underage football in St. Rynaghs.

The current league was run over three weeks in October which saw over 40 kid’s battle for the title. There were a total of 58 goals and 39 points scored in the six games to date, with a very high level of skill on display.
