St. Rynagh's Football Club Notes : 22nd July 2013

Minor Football

St Rynaghs played Ferbane in the minor championship on Wednesday evening last in Shannonbridge, by half time Ferbane led 5-14 to 0-3 and two of them were frees for Rynaghs. The full time score was 6-21 to 2-6. This was a complete mismatch. These games do nothing for the weaker clubs, it makes it more difficult to keep the teams training. Team: R Buckley, A Moylan, M Burns, C Glesson, R Butler, M Daly, S Healy, J Daly, C Daly 1-0, D Flynn 0-1, G Lynch 1-0, D Healy, E Flynn 0-3, E Conroy 0-2, N Higgins. Subs: D Langtry for J Daly, M McLoughlin for N Higgins, A Cannon for C Gleeson.

U16 Football

St Rynaghs U16 will play Ballinamere Durrow in the championship on Thursday evening in Cloghan at 7.30.

Senior Football

St Rynaghs played Ballycumber on Sunday morning in Doon. Ballycumber put 1-4 on the score board to 0-1 for Rynaghs by half time with Rynaghs missing it on some vital scores. A great come back by Rynaghs in the second half brought this game to a draw. Final score: 1-6 to 0-9. Team: C Clancy, C Daly, J Rafferty, T Flaherty, A Camon, G Rafferty, G Scales, P Camon, J O'Connor, S Dolan, G Mahon, P Quirke, N Wynne, S Wynne, J Carroll. Subs: G O'Connor for S Dolan (injured), O McIntyre for J Carroll, D Flynn for G Scales.

U10 Football

Our U10 team played Ferbane in Cloghan on Saturday morning last in the blitz. A great game of football was played with some great moving and passing and skills on show. Well done lads and also S Finneran a nd I Mahon who are doing a great coaching job.
