St Rynaghs Football Club would like to thank everyone who made our Tea Party, which took place on Friday 21st Oct, a marvelous success.  The people who acted as hostesses, the chief organizers John  Bennett, Greg Gilligan and Paddy Daly, also the hall committee for the use of the hall on the night.  Over 250 people turned out on the night.  This project is part of our club house development fundraising and thanks to everyone who played their part in making it a great success.

Congrats and well done to our junior hurlers who won the County final  on Sunday 23rd October against Kinnitty in O'Connor Park Tullamore and especially to the Cloghan contingent Derek Loonam, Gary O'Connor, Joe Carroll, Alan Camon, Ger Rafferty (Capt), Gary Mahon, Paudie Mulhare, James Rafferty, David Flynn, Conor Dolan and Odhran McIntyre.  To the selectors Damien Martin, Willie Gavin, Michael Reynolds and Stephen White.  Many congratulations on a job well done.  The lads had the Junior cup in Clancys Bar on the Monday after the match and there was great craic with music by Kevin Spain.  Also well done to the Kinnitty lads for turning up on the evening.  They are great sportsmen and sportsmanship in the GAA is what it is all about.  Also hard luck to the intermediate team which lost the final to Brosna Gaels on the same day.

********************************

There is no word as of yet when our U16B footballers are playing the semi final of the championship.  Our last game in the group stage was in September when we defeated Ballycumber-Tubber.

********************************

The club would like to express deepest sympathy to the Healy Family, Gallen and The Gannon Family, Cloghan on their recent sad bereavements.

********************************

Our lotto draw continues every Monday night. We are moving to Banagher now for the next 2 months in the clubhouse at 10pm, your continued support in purchasing lotto tickets is vital to the running of our club.
