St Rynaghs Senior Football
St Rynaghs travelled to Durrow on Wednesday evening 23rd May to play Durrow in the Division 2 league.  St Rynaghs was short a number of players due to exams but this didn't dampen their spirits.  Our lads battled hard and did themselves proud on the evening.  They introduced some up and coming young players that gives Rynaghs great hope for the future.  St Rynaghs just loosing out by two points.

U16 Football
St Rynaghs U16 travelled to Tullamore on Monday 21st May to take on Tullamore in the league.  With a number of players injured we knew this was a tough one to win.  We lost Aaron Daly in the first 5 minutes after clashing with Tullamore's full forward.  Aaron had to go to hospital to get a few stitches but will be ok.  We struggled to find form with Tullamore coming out well on top at the end of this encounter,

Our New Clubhouse
We opened our new clubhouse on Sunday 27th May.  Liam O'Neill officially opened our new clubhouse.  Also in attendance was Pat Teehan and our local Councillor's.  Fr Murray blessed the clubhouse and this was followed by the U16 medal presentation.  Our club chairman Ray Bell thanked all who made this wonderful clubhouse happen.  We would also like to thank Offaly and Westmeath for turning up and playing for our opening day and also Brian Gavin and all his officials.  This was a very special day for St Rynaghs Football Club and great credit must be payed to all who made this happen.  People in the club should be very proud of our fine building.  Thanks very much to all.
