As mentioned a couple of weeks ago club PRO Mattie Rosney, Paddy Doyle and Club Chairman Ray Bell are compiling a booklet to coincide with our 50th anniversary, St Rynaghs Football Club 1960 to 2011.  Of course there will be mention of the Cloghan teams  of the past before St Rynaghs Football Club was formed.  Unfortunately we do not have old records or information about our club.  The above people would like to stress that the booklet us not a full history of the club, it is a commerative booklet to generally give interested GAA people a peep into the past and have a nostalgic look back on our club.  If anyone in St Rynaghs parish have old GAA pictures or information about our club, we would be very grateful if you could pass it on to Mattie Rosney 0876297761, Ray Bell 0879080812 and Paddy Doyle 0872879264.  All photos will be returned on completion of the booklet.

With the school exams nearly over and the school holidays starting the club is encouraging every young player from U10 up to minors to take to the training field.  The young fellows know the times training takes place and they should remember one serious fact:  To have any chance in a football game you have to be as fit as your direct opponent.  It is very important to our club that are under age teams get a good run in the championship this year.

Again just a small reminder about the St Rynaghs GAA Lottery, Whatever the Cloghan area sells in lottery tickets it keeps.  Our football club is trying to boost the sales of lottery tickets in our area and the revenue collected is vitally important to the running of our football club.  With the jackpot well over €18,000 €1.50 is a worthwhile gamble.
