St Rynaghs footballers took on Tubber in the league on Friday evening the 15th June in Cloghan.  Rynaghs played with great hunger and passion.  Darragh Tierney opened the scoring for Rynaghs with a great goal and followed with some fine points, Eoin Woods also got on the score board.  Half time score Ryanghs 3-6 to Tubbers 1-2.  Second half and our lads started to control the game all over the field with great scores coming from all our forwards and mid-field.  Final score Tubber 1-6 to St Rynaghs 11-16.  Well done lads this puts Rynaghs in the League Final.  Team: C. Flynn, S. Daly, C. Redmond, D. Healy, P. Byrne, F. Hanamy, D. Healy, D. Tierney (1-3), C. Kelly, G. Daly (1-2), E. Corcoran (2-0), A. Kenny (1-2), S. Hanamy (0-1), E. Woods (2-4), S. Feile Weekend

Next weekend we host Lancashire from England for the Football Feile.  This is a very exciting weekend for our club.  They arrive Friday where they will be met by their host family's followed by the opening game against St. Rynaghs at 3pm.  Then its off to Portlaoise for the official parade at 7pm.  On Saturday St Rynaghs play Dicksbro from Kilkenny at 10am finishing off at 1.30pm against Moate.  Hopefully if our lads do well we will be heading for Mucklagh for a semi final and maybe heading for Portlaoise for the final on Sunday.  We hope that people will turn out and support the lads in Friday and Saturday.  All games will be played in Cloghan on Friday and Saturday.  Best of luck lads in the Feile.
