Minor Football

St Rynaghs travelled to Kilcormac on Wednesday evening where they took on Kilcormac-Killoughey .  Rynaghs were short a number of players on the evening and Kilcormac-Killoughey took full advantage of this clocking up a 6-4 to 0-4 score at half time.  Second half Rynaghs played a bit better football finishing off on a scoreline of 1-4 to 8-8.

Junior Football

Our Junior footballers went to Tubber on Thursday evening to play Tubber in the championship.  Tuber started with great pace and determination firing over points.  Our lads were struggling to keep up.  Eoin Grogan and Eunan Martin scored a point each in the first half with Tubber scoring 1-11.  Second half Rynaghs came out a different team and got stuck in and took control of mid-field.  Eunan Martin finding the post and another point each from Dessie O'Connor and Alan Camon.  Eunan Martin got a point from a free, a good move from mid-field led to a cracking goal from Eunan Martin.  Dean Flynn was through on goal early but just screwed off his right boot and went wide, but made up shortly after with a fine point to leave the final score St Rynaghs 1-7 Tubber 1-11.  Team:  I Mahon, P Grogan, I Hanamy, D Flynn, A Camon, D O'Connor, K Lynch, S Horan, F Shortt, A Smith, A Clancy, E Grogan, E Martin, P Daly, D Flynn.  Subs Used: S Lyons for A Smith, D Shortt for P Daly, D Lynch for E Grogan.
