A few congratulations at the end of 2011..

Congratulations to Eunan Martin on being named Offaly Junior Hurler of the Year for 2011 and to everyone involved in St Rynaghs Hurling on their Junior A Championship win.

To our U16 on their win against Kilcormac-Killoughey in the county final…well done to everyone was great to win a championship during our 50th anniversary!!

Michael Duignan for getting to the top of the Irish bestsellers list in the paperback non-fiction section for his book “Life, Death & Hurling, The Michael Duignan Story”…well worth a read if you haven’t got a copy of it already..rumour has it Sod is in talks with the book publishers on a book about his conquests on and off the field....looking forward to reading this in 2012..

Well done and thanks to everyone for their support for the clubs annual "St Stephens Day Charity Game between Past and Present Players" €1230 was raised on the day with €730 going to support Offaly Hospice, €250 for Banagher Senior Citizen Group" and €250 for Cloghan Senior Citizen Group"

***** Finally...Important Football meeting on Friday 6th Jan at 8pm in our new clubhouse for all coaches, players and club members. The meeting is open to everyone who wants to comedown and discuss football regarding all age groups and areas we might improve during 2012. Please make an effort to attend as everyone contribution is important...*****
